Chamonix Attractions
Mont Blanc - This towering mountain range on the Italian border with France, it's highest peak measures nearly 16,000 feet, which makes it the second highest mountain in Europe. Mer de Glace - This is a great idea for a day out. Behind the train station of Chamonix there's another little station, This is where the Montenvers mountain railway leaves from. It takes you up to the altitude of about 2000m to La Mer de glace, 7 km long and 1,2 km wide.
